Second and third video of model

Google warehouse?

I tried to upload my google sketchup model onto the google warehouse .. it said my file was too large ! :|

Edit: An alternative to accessing my model is to click  on the link below and download it right off that site :)

By the way..

I found this youtube video quite interesting .. it was my 'inspiration' for my stairs :)

Final Model

Hello! These are some screen shots of my re-evaluated model. I was going for a more minimalistic approach in designing this gallery because The words that chose  to describe the above and below ground were quite simplistic. (Above bending, Noun- Man) The material selection was based on the words that I chose, for instance: the above ground level mostly made from wooden materials (except for the exterior which was an airbrushed metal material- I chose that material so it could integrate with the bottom word which was man, since man makes these materials it would make sense.) The bottom level materials that were chosen was concrete and cobblestone :)

(this is the screenshots without my personal materials)

My Sectional video :)

Week 3- 36 textures

Week 2- sketchup model

My material selection is mostly steel textures on the exterior minus the railings on the below ground platforms which is a concrete material. However, I chose wooden materials for the inside to contrast the exterior man-made materials.
Above Ground- Computer Generated
Below ground- Awe striking (I acknowledge that my below ground stairs isn't really what you'd call awe striking, that's why in my final model I changes my stair choice.)

Week1- 18 sections (2nd attempt)

Stelarc:
Noun1:  Man
Verb1: Relaxing
Adjective1: Computer-generated

Louise Bourgeois:
Noun2:
Sculpture
Verb2: Bending
Adjective2: Awe-striking

I tried to draw the sections with a normal ballpoint pen because I found that when I drew the sections with the felt tip, it looked messy and clumsy in the way it was drawn. So I just used the felt tip pen To outline the sections :)

Week 1- 18 Sketch sections (first attempt)

Stelarc:
Noun1:  Man
Verb1: Relaxing
Adjective1: Computer-generated

Louise Bourgeois:
Noun2:
Sculpture
Verb2: Bending
Adjective2: Awe-striking

Hi!  I kept forgetting to upload the section drawings in my notebook so here they are! I was picking and choosing which ones I should upload because I drew 36 sections, although they don't seem like the best drawings in the world at least it's something :)

Week 1- First (draft) Sketchup model.

Above ground- Awe Striking
Below Ground- Bending

My material selection would be an aluminium kind of material for the top and the bottom would have a transparent glass-type material to it.
